CLASS SCHEDULE

I encourage students to hone their personal responsibility skills when it comes to checking out and returning books in a timely manner.  Please do not ever feel like you need to make a special trip to school to drop off library books.  Everyone forgets a time or two.  It's not a big deal unless it becomes a habit.  The student can just bring the books down the next day before school starts and check out new ones, once they've checked in with their classroom teacher and gotten the okay.  I would hate for someone to be counted as absent or tardy because they were with me instead of in their classroom.

This is our typical library schedule each week.  On occasion things may be shifted around due to a field trip, special event or a snow day, but normally this is the schedule we follow.  When there are not classes scheduled, I may be working with small groups of students, assisting teachers with locating resources or a technology-related question, or providing help to a student who is needing to find a specific resource for a current project, among other things.  If you need to reach me, email is probably easiest: lisa.tegels@johnston.k12.ia.us
